How Fertility Clinic Finder Makes Money
Fertility Clinic Finder is free for patients. We generate revenue through optional premium listings purchased by fertility clinics. Here is exactly how that works and what it does and does not affect.
What Premium Listings Include
Clinics can purchase a premium listing to enhance their profile. Premium listings include:
- Priority placement: Premium clinics appear higher in search results and on state/city pages.
- Featured badge: A visible badge indicating the listing is a premium profile.
- Lead notifications: Real-time alerts when patients submit inquiries through their listing.
- Enhanced analytics: Data on profile views and patient engagement.
- Dedicated support: Priority customer service for profile management.
What Premium Does NOT Affect
This is important. Paying for a premium listing does not change:
- Ratings or reviews: Patient ratings are sourced from Google and our own moderated review system. Premium clinics cannot buy higher ratings or suppress negative reviews.
- Success rate data: CDC/SART data is displayed identically for all clinics, premium or not.
- Editorial content: Our blog articles, treatment guides, and educational resources are written independently. No clinic pays for mentions or favorable coverage.
- Data accuracy: Premium clinics are held to the same verification standards as every other listing. Paying does not allow a clinic to misrepresent its services, credentials, or outcomes.
- Listing completeness: All listings display the same information fields. Premium clinics do not receive exclusive data categories.
How We Label Premium Listings
Premium listings are always clearly identified with a visible badge. We do not disguise paid placements as organic results. When a clinic appears higher in search results because of premium status, the premium badge is visible to patients.
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell patient data.
- We do not run third-party display advertising.
- We do not accept payments for editorial coverage or article placement.
- We do not charge patients for using the directory, submitting reviews, or contacting clinics.
- We do not accept referral fees from clinics for patient leads.
